Housing & Neighbourhoods Working Group

Our Housing & Neighbourhoods Working Group brings together older people from across Greater Manchester to talk about the places we live and what helps people age well in their homes and communities.  We meet every 8 weeks to share experiences explore new ideas, and discuss the changes that could make our homes and neighbourhoods safer, more accessible, and supportive as we grow older.

The group regularly welcomes speakers from universities, charities and regional organisations working on housing and ageing.  Through these conversations, members help ensure that the lived experiences of older people are heard and considered in housing policy, research, and local initiatives.
